1. Who we are

MzansiLink ("we", "us", "the Platform") is a South African social platform offering a public/social feed, a Dating service, a Comedy ticketing marketplace, a Jobs board, a Music discovery section, and an in-app Wallet funded by airtime/data vouchers. By creating an account or using any part of the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Dating is restricted to age-verified users only — you confirm your date of birth is accurate at registration.
• You may not use the Platform if you have previously been suspended or banned, or if doing so would violate any law applicable to you.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harass other users, post unlawful content, or attempt to defraud the Wallet system.

4. The Wallet, vouchers, and payments

• The Wallet is topped up using mobile network airtime/data vouchers (MTN, Vodacom, Cell C, Telkom). Voucher credit is added to your Wallet balance and is not redeemable for cash.
• Wallet balance is used to pay for: Dating daily access, Comedy tickets, and any other paid feature on the Platform.
• All Wallet transactions are final once processed, except where required otherwise by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or where we determine a genuine error occurred.
• Dating access is billed at the rate shown in-app (currently R3.90) per day of active use, debited automatically from your Wallet balance. If your balance is insufficient, Dating access is paused until you top up.
• Comedy tickets are sold by the hosting comedian; MzansiLink retains a platform commission on each sale as disclosed at time of purchase. Ticket sales are final; refunds are at our discretion for cancelled or materially misrepresented shows.

5. Content you post

You retain ownership of content you post (posts, photos, comments, dating profile details, comedy material, job listings). By posting, you grant MzansiLink a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service. You're solely responsible for content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.

6. Prohibited conduct

• Harassment, hate speech, threats, or abusive behaviour toward other users.
• Impersonation, fraud, or misrepresenting your age, identity, or intentions (particularly on Dating).
• Posting unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.
• Attempting to circumvent Wallet charges, manipulate voucher codes, or exploit bugs for financial gain.
• Scraping, reverse-engineering, or reselling access to the Platform without our written consent.

7. Dating safety

MzansiLink does not conduct criminal background checks on Dating users. Meeting people from the internet carries inherent risk — meet in public places, tell a friend where you're going, and never send money to someone you've only met online. Report suspicious profiles immediately.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Platform is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we're not liable for user-generated content, the conduct of other users, or indirect or consequential losses, to the fullest extent permitted by South African law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
